A message from Polly:
"Hello and thank you for visiting. Please do dive into the collections in the gallery - this is just a bit about why they exist. I started Beeseye because I knew an artist (Matt Wain) who wasn't marketing his work. His style fired my imagination - images inspired by nature that were ‘nearly' abstract.
Often I thought I knew what the subjects were, but that didn't matter, the way they were captured had allowed me to make my own interpretation. Matt clearly loved and was inspired by nature - his images evoked memories and revived my senses.
My vision for Beeseye is for it to become the go-to place for beautiful abstract images inspired by nature. I want creatives everywhere to look at a particular project and know that Beeseye would be perfect for it.
When I discovered that Matt wasn't alone, I was thrilled. My mission is to continue to seek these artists out and gather the best of them together, here.
Based in London, Beeseye has been ‘keeping it natural' since 2006 and we have customers all over the world. Working closely with the artists, we're here to help - to offer advice on how best to print your chosen images or put together a proposal for your client.
Today, the collections contain images from five award-winning fine photographic artists (easy for me to say!) who specialize in this specific style of nature-inspired imagery.
Each is on a journey to explore interpretations of nature. Just as the romantics revolted against the industrial age, now, in the electronic age, these natural images revive our senses. They remind us of what it means to be close to nature.
These artists are the true new romantics - all exploring the natural world and capturing it for the viewer in abstract form, in camera not on computer. They share a common vision: to reconnect us with nature, with the truth and beauty of the natural world.
We use these images for project proposals and to custom make prints to order - to your specifications. We use the best print methods, the finest materials and master printers. We oversee the production of each print, check and wrap it ourselves.
