Beeseye are delighted to share an image from the gallery of Vyacheslav Mishchenko, this year’s winner of the IPA Discovery of the Year 2014 at the annual Lucie Awards.
The International Photography Awards (IPA) salute the achievements of the world’s finest photographers, discover new and emerging talent, and promote the appreciation of photography. They conduct an an annual competition for professional, non-professional, and student photographers on a global scale, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive competitions in the photography world today.
Nominees in the non-professional and student categories are invited to the Lucie Awards to compete for the title of the Discovery of the Year, a coveted Lucie statue and cash prize.
Mishchenko is an unknown Ukranian photographer who specialises in macro photography. He credits his love of nature and nature inspired images to his father and, by winning such an honour, joins an elite list of award-winning fine art photographers.
