Print on glass for stunning kitchen splashback
Updated: Jul 18, 2019
Here’s the space for the kitchen splashback & pics of the installed splashback printed on glass. Love the way it brings the outside in!
The owners of this kitchen are having their London house renovated. They saw Matt’s images and wanted a kitchen splashback printed on glass, made to measure to suit their space. To help them visualise the finished piece, the customers sent us a picture of, where the splashback would be installed. They chose a few images and we Photoshopped them into the picture. How we work - Installation of the printed glass splashback in pictures.
We measured up for installation – so it’s a perfect fit. First, Matt preps the wall for the glue. Next, we apply glue, gently fix the splashback in place and it’s held there for 24 hours with a small wooden block, while the glue sets. Matt tapes around the piece and carefully applies a bead of silicone around the edges.
It’s already looking great - I love the way it unites the interior and exterior spaces. Tape removed and glass polished – Matt’s looking happy!
